Tray Baked Chicken Marbella with Mediterranean Coucous and Vegetables


Delivering the Methven, Mayfield and Staveley on Tuesday 10th August and Ashburton on Wednesday 11th August.

"The Silver Palate Cookbook" co-author Sheila Lukins is credited with creating this Spanish- and Moroccan-inspired chicken dish in the 1980s. Flavours are bold, tangy, sweet and savory all at the same time. Our version is made with chicken legs that are marinated overnight and tray baked with olives, prunes, white wine, capers until golden. Served with Mediterranean Couscous to soak up the saucy goodness and plenty of vegetables. Be brave - give it a go (you can always pick the olives out if they're not your thing)!

Pick up available from our new kitchen at in Mt Somers at 61 Pattons Rd (next to the store) from 3pm on Tuesday 10th August.

Delivery to Methven is between 3.30-6pm on the 10th August. Delivery to Ashburton on the 11th between  9-12noon ($5 fee applies). If not home please leave a chiller bag outside. Orders close at 4pm Monday 9th August unless sold out prior.
